Navy Pilot New Years Day Writes Disturbing Comments By Daniel Baxter |

January 9, 2012 - San Diego Sheriff's Homicide
investigators continue with the investigation into the
shooting that took place on Park Place in Coronado which
left four people dead in a murder-suicide in the early
morning hours of New Year's Day.
At
about 2:20 AM, January 1, 2012, David Andrew Reis age
25, a Navy pilot, Karen Elizabeth Reis sister to David
age 24, and Matthew Saturley age 31 had been shot to
death after an evening out at a nightclub with the group
by John Robert Reeves age 25 who is also a navy pilot
who then took his own life with a gun shot to the head.
The autopsies reveled that David Reis, was killed by a
gunshot wound to the torso, his sister, Karen, was shot
in the head and chest and Matthew Saturley was shot
multiple times. |

Karen
Reis, lived in San Diego, she coached volleyball twice a week to
children 12 and younger, and worked at a local grocery store.
Genuine Volleyball Club's website reported Reis she was
completing course work toward becoming an occupational
therapist.
David Reis
and John Reeves were both stationed at Marine Corps Air Station
Miramar, California. The military has reported that U.S. Navy
pilot Lt. John R. Reeves, of Prince Frederick, Maryland and U.S.
Navy Lt. David A. Reis, Bakersfield, California were both Navy
officers flying F/A-18 aircraft and assigned to Marine Fighter
Attack Training Squadron 101, Marine Aircraft Group 11, Third
Marine Aircraft Wing.
