Intoxicated Passenger Arrested After Punching A
United Airlines Pilot

June 25, 2013 - Donald Joseph Gee, 53, of Fort
Washington, Philadelphia was arrested at
Washington Dulles International Airport last
week after allegedly punching a United Airlines
pilot.
Gee, had been a cook on a Dredging ship in
Afghanistan for the past 10 months and was
headed home. The flight Gee was to take had been
delayed. After having several drinks Gee
confronted the pilot, upon
observing Gee's Behavior
the pilot told him "your not getting on this
flight tonight'. Gee then stated "its a good
thing TSA is here I'd puch your F... lights
out".
Gee remains irate continues cursing and being
threatening. Gee walked away and sat down at
which point he began to taunt the pilot. Gee
stated "I'll step outside any time you want to".
The United pilot responded and stated “you don't
need to step outside, I'm right here".
Gee rose out of his seat and stated "you wanna
go right now?" At which point Gee walks up to
the United Airlines pilot and punches him
several times in the face. Gee was subdued by
airline employees. He was help until the police
arrived.
Gee was arrested June 18, for public swearing,
intoxication and assault. He was held in jail
over night and the following morning appeared in
Loudoun District Court. Gee is held on a $2,500
bond and is to return to court on September 25,
2013 at 10:00 AM.
A United Airlines spokesman said "Violence
against our employees is unacceptable and we
will review this closely. We are fully
cooperating with authorities and do not have
further comment at this time."
