CSSI has worked
with the ATO to develop the Air Traffic Safety Action Program (ATSAP), a
nonpunitive safety reporting system for air traffic controllers, and has
helped the ATO develop and implement a Safety Management System for the
ATO and Airports. CSSI also ensures planes maintain a safe distance in
the skies as the leading provider of reduced vertical separation minimum
(RVSM) monitoring services.
“Safety is not a
given and must be addressed every day,” said Captain Mary McMillan, CSSI
vice president of Safety and Environmental Services. “In partnership
with the FAA, CSSI is helping the industry understand that the meaning
of Safety Culture is the ability to align its safety and organizational
goals with individual values, in order to effectively manage its risks.” |
